have not been updating for quite some time sbb nothing interesting to update. very low-key lifestyle + social life not so huhuhaha + been re-adjusting here and there.

 

Anyways, just want to share some knowledge that I've gained from two religious talks that I've attended in December 2014 and last month (February 2015). Alhamdulillah, badan sihat and umur panjang to sit and listen to reminders from the speakers.

 

Twins of Faith Conference 2014

 

it was 2-day conference, packed with talks and workshops on the unseen world (tema adalah "World of the Unseen"). we listened to topics about angels, syaitan/jin, the hellfire (neraka), the jannah (syurga), the day of judgement, the Qadr, and many more. sangat, sangat, sangat berilmiah. the two topics that I like the most adalah about the Angels (Malaikat) and the Jannah (syurga). smbil dgr speaker berckp, smbil tu berangan about betapa cantiknye & bestnye syurga tu. tapi bak kata Sheikh yg bg talk about Jannah ni:-

"we'll enter Jannah through Allah's mercy" ~ Sh. Yahya Ibrahim

kalau rasa2 diri byk buat amal, jgn terus rs "aku byk buat amalan ni, CONFIRM masuk syurga". jangan ye ada rs cmtu sbbnye nak masuk syurga tu is with Allah's mercy/rahmat Allah. byk2 berdoa supaya kita sntiasa dpt rahmat Allah + amalan2 kita tu akn diterima utk kita masuk syurga. Amin.

 

and Sheikh yg bg talk pasal Angels ckp:-

so, Malaikat apakah itu... yg pndg kpd Allah tnpa berkelip? itulah Israfil, peniup sangkakala. nak tau sbb apa tak berkelip? sbb, Israfil awaits the command from Allah utk tiup sangkakala pertama. bila Allah kata tiup je, terus Israfil akan tiup & semua menda kt alam ni akn hancur. begitulah taatnye Malaikat sebagai makhluk ciptaan Allah.

 

Marriage Conference 2015

 

it's a 1-day conference, lg padat & berlari2an la nk follow talk & workshop at different rooms kt PICC tu. it's typical for ppl to think that this conference is meant for org2 yg di alam perkahwinan je. No, no, no... walaupn namanye MARRIAGE conference, yg blom kawen pn leh join, yg dh kawen & berpisah (sbb kematian or perceraian) pn leh join. the points delivered by the speakers/panels ada yg berkaitan dgn our life sbgi INDIVIDU. bak kata Sheikh yg ckp about Broken Hearts:-

"the only one who'll never disappoint you is Allah" ~ Sh. Omar Suleiman

mksdnye, even if you are facing difficulties/disappoinmnt, your response twrds the prblm/issue should be smthg that will mean "I'll please Allah". nk tau sebab apa? sbb, dlm kita tgh susah/berduka, Allah will never disappoint us if we put Him first. if our heart is filled with Allah, we'll be able to respond to the hardship better. see? ni kn nasihat utk semua org as INDIVIDU.

 

kita ni bkn tak tahu, tp as human we need constant reminders to improve ourselves. jgn be judgmental to others and don't worry too much about nk jg/maintain our reputation. ada bgsnye ada social media nowadays. tp bila social media jd platform for us to b jdgmntl of others and also we become more and more conscious utk nk maintain our own reputation, itu dh jd tak perlu lg dh. ni nsht from Prof. Muhaya herself ye (she was one of the speakers). org yg worry too much abt what others think of him/her, that's the sign that you are an ego-conscious person. ni pn Prof. Muhaya yg ckp.  and when Prof Muhaya asked the audience, "who here doesn't have Facebook account?", wanna guess who put up her hand? (correct answer: saya la tu, hehehehe.)

I sat in front of the television one day, watched the news on the missing flight MH370 & saw a "Kini Trending" segment... that's when I know about a youtube channel by matluthfi. for those of you who haven't heard (or watched) it, u r not alone because................ I just knew about this guy (matluthfi) sejak less than 15 hari yg lps!!! & that his videos r hilarious and he's soooo sempoi =)

 

when I discovered his youtube channel (lps dh tgk segment "Kini Trending" kt Awani), I had this idea to share it with my friends. you know... good stuff should b shared, right? rupa2nye, most of my friends already know about his channel & some even subscribe to it to get d latest updates/videos. seems like I la yg ter"ketinggalan" ni =(

I'm sharing with you guys now (terutama skali utk sape2 yg cm I, yg xpnah tau kewujudan matluthfi & his creative works) because I feel that u deserve a good laugh di celah2 daily stress korg...walaupun video2 klakar from matluthfi sekadar around 5minutes je. his videos make me laugh & I hope u'll hv a good laugh too.

while I was browsing the internet recently, I read about jobs that will burn more calories. among those yg I igt adalah park ranger and waiter/waitress. ada lg 3 jobs being listed tp I xleh nk recall, yg pstinye librarian tak termasuk dlm senarai (maka harus cari cara utk burn calories or cari kerja len yg leh burn those calories, huhuhuhuhu). 

recently jugak, I pegi Midvalley & tgk secara live org buat candy. purpose gi Midvalley bkn semata2 nk tgk demo buat rock candy tp disbbkn dh TERlalu kt dpn kedai iCandy tu, tgk jelah. lps I tgk demo buat rock candy, trus rs cm xleh nk menyungut psl kerja I sndiri. kalo rs krja sendiri adalah susah, abang2 yg kerja buat candy tu rsnye laaaaaaaagi susah. ok jap, click video ni kalo nk tgk demo handmade rock candy by iCandy Studio.

masa tgk abang2 pembuat candies tu buat kerja kt dpn audience (oh ye, mmg rmi audience dpn kedai ni, dats y la I pn berenti), dlm kpale i pkir brp byk la calorie abg ni burn dr start buat smpi la settle siap sejenis rock candy. nk buat pn nk kna berimaginasi, whch mmg x tercapai la dgn akal i yg xbrp nk creative ni. trus rs cm pembuat candy adalah salah satu kerja berat yg memerlukan kekuatan tgn, perut dan kaki, dan perlu kreatif dan imaginatif. if u have the time, sila la tgk sndiri live demo buat candy, then hopefully u agree with me. hahaha, kalo x agree pn xpe. selain kt Midvalley, ada lg 1 yg I tau kt Sunway Pyramid.


I can imagine gula yg diorg buat tu stil pns. so diorg kna bergerak pantas to avoid gula jd keras. nk menguli, nk tarik2, nk angkat... from my observation, npk cm berat. mmg la abg2 pembuat candy tu xyh nk masuk gym utk build muscle tgn/perut. buat rock candy pn maybe leh dpt six-packs. ms I tgk tu, dia tgh buat yg bg npk cm buah oren. of course la flavour oren. dia bg audience rs yg diorg dh buat tu. I'm not a fan of candy/gula2/lollipop, tp sbb npk cm kerja keras sgt, I abiskn jugak la. the taste? ok, not bad.

went to watch "Oz: The Great and Powerful" at d cinema today. i like James Franco as Harry Osborn in Spiderman... but i like him more as Oscar Diggs in Oz. ms jadi Harry Osborn, he looks cute. tp as Oscar Diggs, he looks matured. ok... physical appearance affected my judgement for his character. *pipi merah* =)

the movie Oz starts with gmbr itam putih. ms tu zmn2 Oscar jd magician in travelling circus. disbbkn dia ni suka flirt, terkantoi la pulak but he escapes dgn hot air balloon. tp hot air balloon tersangkut dlm tornado. dlm ketakutan cz terperangkap dlm tornado tu, tetiba je lps dia ckp "I don't want to die! blablabla...", hot air balloon telah dibawa landing ke Land of Oz. ta-daaaa.... kata magic!!!

 

masa kt Land of Oz ni dh ada colour. bunga, pokok, langit, jln, rumput, etc2...sume cantikkkk!!! kalo nk lbh effect yg best, lh tgk dgn 3D. i like that the movie has some funny scripts and characters. & i also like to see how Oscar uses his tricks to defeat the witches. konsep2 science ada digunakan, so ada lah unsur2 education di situ =)

 

moral of d story: "Believe. for when u do believe, anythg is possible". that's what Oz says.

cmne starting i leh terjebak suka lagu2 FT Island ni eh? ada la i tgk korean drama citer "He's beautiful". didn't know that slh sorg yg berlakon tu is d lead singer for FT Island. dlm citer "He's beautiful" tu, ada 1 scene yg d lead singer tu nyanyi dlm bus. i was like "eh...eh... best la suara dia ni". lps dh abis tgk that drama, my fren btau yg dia tu mmg sbnrny penyanyi. lerrrrrr... ptt la pn suara sedap.

 

tp iye lah, citarasa org beza2. i suka, tp u all mbe biasa2 je =) i pn xckp i ni peminat tegar FT Island & i bknnye la peminat tegar Korean drama gk. i lyn je apa2 yg i rs bes, cnthnye Running Man, hahahaha. Running Man kalo i tgk sorg2, i gelak la sorg2. kalo my sister TERtgk skali (dia xde pilihan nk tgk cz msa dia jln dlm umh & stop dpn tv, tgk2 i tgh lyn Running Man & remote tv kt i), dia pn lh lyn gelak gk la. 1 of FT Island's songs that i like - Severely. lagu ni pn dlm senarai Korean tu gk, muahahaha. sedih tgk videoclip dia.

~ train ride: bittersweet memories ~

my 1st experience on d train started way back when i was 8. my dad took our family for a day ride to Ipoh, on a 3rd class coach (*gasp!!!). imagine naik tren 3rd class masa thn 80-an. it's basically a pick-your-seat ride (mcm Air Asia lk leh pick your seat), pick your seat where there's an empty seat. in other words, if xde empty seat, berdiri/mencangkung sepjg jln. i can't recall how long it took us to reach Ipoh train station. but once we reached there, we walked around (pusg2 keliling train station je), took pictures, then catched the next train back to KL. itu suatu ketika dahulu.

then came d time when i took d train from JB to KL. that was when i attended boarding school. d price for a 2nd class ticket fr JB to KL costs less than rm20. for 5 years, tiap kali nk cuti skolah, beli tiket train less than rm20? mewah!!! ye, subsidi kerajaan, maka bdk2 skolah cm kami dpt la beli tiket half price. alhamdulillah =) each time nk beli tiket JB-KL from pakcik Ahdan (wuuuu, still igt wehhhh!!!), dh pakat2 nk dok dgn sape walaupun dlm 1 koc tu nnt mostly kenkwn sndiri gk. (partner train ride, jgn nk buat2 xigt yg kita sll dok sblh2 dlm train, muahahaha). JB to KL jelah yg i naik train. KL to JB hrs la menggunakan khidmat kereta bapak sndiri cz...hmmm... stok makanan bermcm2 sgt nk bw blk hostel :p

lpstu, zmn semakin maju & we hv d KTM commuter smpi skrg. i prnh naik komuter smpi Seremban. dh pnah gk naik smpi Klang (ini serious lama). yg xpnah naik is komuter to Rawang.

i rs KTM dh de imprvmnt dgn d new coach. lbh besar. lbh selesa. tpnye, stil byk yg leh improve. cnthnye time management. dh jd cm bhn lawak tau sbnrnye yg org xlh nk pcaya komuter akn smpi kt platform on time. sedih kn? & kalau tren ada prblm, lmbt sgt kakitgn nk bertindak. my experience train komuter stranded dh xtau brp byk kali dh. plg xleh lupa, tren stranded tgh2 landasan. we were in d ladies' coach, tingkap x lh bkk (brp byk sgt kudrat pompn ada nk bkk tgkp). aircond xde. xde announcement. try being in an enclosed area for 5 minutes & u'll understand d feeling. ppl say that d secret is to remain calm. tp cz dh rmi yg rs cm xsng ati cz xde progress, i did d most logical thing - called whatever number written kt sticker yg ada tampal dlm coach tu & asked them in d most sarcastic way possible. i tried not to b sarcastic, tp xleh la. sepns2 keadaan dlm tren tu, pns lg ati i, haaaaa. lg 1 mslh, penumpang2 pn sma gk... dh ada koc wanita, yg lelaki2 pn nk masuk gk, knp? lpstu selamba je duduk & xnk bg pompn yg lbh memerlukan utk duduk. hepppp, abang... don't u know hw 2b a gentleman?

~ my ride from Kajang-KL Sentral-Klang ~

& we also hv d STAR & PUTRA LRT. i prefer these two drpd KTM komuter (sorry KTM. Rapid KL is doing a better job, i guess). skrg cm dh canggih sket especially kt stesen msjd jamek. dulu kalo br turun Putra kt msjd jamek & nk naik STAR, kna beli tiket lain (now they've introduced d chip, kna hati2 sket cz it's smaller than d card). or, if u r Touch&Go user like me, kna touch card kt reader ms nk kuar stesen Putra, then touch again kt reader ms nk g STAR pulak. skrg (i mean, starting thn ni) dh xyh. turun je Putra kt msjd jamek station, can straight take d STAR to whch ever station u wanna go. dh smpi destinasi, br touch your T&Go at d reader. kn lbh sng tu. xyh nk stress beratur byk2 kali utk beli tiket especially during peak hours. 

now that we r gonna hv our MRT, i hope it'll provide a better train service alternative to the users. org2 yg mmg gna train (esp pengguna2 komuter) sure look forward to hv d MRT, kn? ke, i sorg je yg look forward? anyways, if u wanna know more about Malaysia's MRT Project, u can go to MRT Corp's website.  they r having a "I need MRT because..." contest until 31 December 2012. stil smpt lg kalo nk join d contest, get d info here.

to make one important decision, moving from the daily 9 to 5 job (or 8.30 to 5.30 job, like mine) to being a full time WAHM bkn la 1 decision yg mudah. now dh ada kemudahan online shop/online boutique/online this-and-that, which is good. sape yg btul2 bertekad, mmg bgs la wt online business fulltime. ada gk yg wt online business utk generate side income. x kesah la whether they r doing online business on full time basis or just to generate side income, yg pntg kna btul2 usaha gigih. & then yakin yg rezki tu dr Allah. siapa usaha, insyaallah dpt gnjarannya.

 

zmn i kecik2 dulu, ms zmn xde mnda2 online ni, i tlg my late aunty jual kuih kt pasar malam. i tlg jg gerai, bungkus2 kuih bila org nk beli. most of d time i dpt kuih free sbgi upah, hehehe. & then ms zmn skolah, i tlg my parents berniaga... business jual kuih bangkit utk generate side income for the family menjelang Hari Raya. disbbkn ms tu i ni xde skil sgt nk promote brg, so i wt krja2 blkg tabir jelah...prodctn line... tukg bungkus-membungkus & packing2. nk jual, kita serahkn pd yg pakar. alhamdulillah rezki jual kuih ms tu kira ok.

recently, there was a talk being organized at our office about what's happening in Palestine and Gaza. sambil2 dgr talk, d speaker who is from Viva Palestina Malaysia group tnjk gmbr2 yg diorg amik while they were at Palestine. looking at those pictures, i can't help but felt sedih cz xtau cmne nk jd dgn nasib diorg... tanah sndiri asyk kna bom je, mna lg nk lari. Viva Palestina Malaysia joins the other volunteers from other parts of the world to help people of Palestine, especially kids and the women, to hv a better life, albeit temporarily.

went to watch a movie today, despite not feeling well earlier in the morning. two & a half hours b4 my friend was supposed to fetch me at home, i went to see d doctor. very bad sore throat yg menyumbang ke arah earlier symptoms of going to hv a fever. as i'm leaving for penang in 2 days time, Doc tlh bermurah hati bg d complete set of d fever-flu medicine. hah, amikkk!!! bekalan ubat ke Penang dh lgkp, so don't need to worry anymore in case i catch anothr round of sore throat/fever/flu while i was there...eh, kita ni nk berckp psl movie yg i tgk siang td, not d set of medicine yg Doc bg kt i. pfttt.

 

ok, sila la g tgk "Life of Pi" now showing at d cinema. u can read all d positive feedback if you google the title. 1review that i like can b found here. to me, d movie is d combination of Titanic+Narnia+Cast Away+pirates of d caribbean+eat,pray,love. 1 word to summarize it - GREAT =)

i adalah org yg tak pernah tgk movie in 3D. ye, saya begitu tradisional (booooo) & getting to watch this movie in 3D, GREAT tu dh jd ganda 1000. d whole story telling from d beginning when Pi was small & digelakkn by his friends (go watch this movie if nk tau knp his friends sll gelakkan dia) smpi la kpd his experience alone in d lifeboat with just a Bengal tiger being his companion (nama harimau tu cm nama manusia), all of it were done fantastically.

 

apart from most reviews ckp citer ni best, d reviews also suggest that u watch this movie in 3D. basically, mmg berbaloi to watch "Life of Pi" in 3D. sila tgk.

i had this for the 1st time ms minum kt kedai mamak nearby Ampang Point with my friends. ms tu xle rs cm sdp sgt. biasa2 je. xpaham why my friend said sedap sgt three layer tea ni. then tried this drink masa mkn kt The Chicken Rice shop recently. tu pn bkn i yg beli, i tried yg kwn i order. ms tu la br rs hah mmg sgt nikmat sedap giller ni!!! lpstu rs cm dh kemaruk asyik nk three layer tea je. 

 

de skali tu g mkn kt Bangi & ordered this drink. mslhnye, mybe org kedai tu xbrp terer lg wt three layer tea. trus pangkah restoren tu py three layer tea =( mbe gk cz i dh pnah rs yg sedap py kt TCRS, trus la rs restoren ni py xsedap. smlm went to Midvalley, had lunch at The Warung, ordered soto ayam & three layer tea. fuuuuhhhh...sedap giller!!! now i know where i can get three layer tea plg nikmat - The Chicken Rice Shop & The Warung at Midvalley.
