Trip to Bandung & Jkrta (Oct. 2009) - 1st

Though the vacation took place last year, i'm gonna share the excitement that we've experienced throughout our 5-days holiday at Bandung and Jakarta last year. It was my 2nd time to Bandung & my 1st time to Jakarta.

1) 1st day - Bandung
We had Nasi Lemak on the plane. Sampai je kt Jakarta's Bandara Soekarno Hatta, pak supir (Pak Madi) was already there and he stopped at the rest area along the highway for lunch (mknan Padang). Memandagkn perut kami ni dh diisi dgn n. lemak, makanye mkn lunch pn sket jelah.
Then, we went to the factory outlets available kt Bandung. Jln agak macet, so pakcik supir tu plan mana2 tmpt yg dia nk bw kitrg supaya x abiskn byk masa kt atas jlnraya je. yg plg bes, g Toko Tiga - tmpt jual jeans2 yg menarik. Dinner adalah lbh menarik dr lunch, whereby we had seafood *nyum...nyum...* dgr je Pak Madi ty "kalau dinner nnt kita mkn seafood, ok ke?", laju je kitorg jwb "OK" :)

2) 2nd day - still at Bandung
We went to Gng Tangkuban Parahu. It was my 2nd visit to this place, so I know what 2expect. Tmpt ni dh bertambah cantik, dh ada proper tapak jual souvenir2.
Pak supir kami hy tgg kt kereta. Met a lot of Malaysian there, tp diorg sdiri tgh sibuk beli souvenir. makanye, kitorg mntk tlg another guide yg kebetulannye bw a group of Malaysian to take our picture. nak mntk tlg org sembarangan, uhuhuhu, sgt xberani.

Lunch at Restoran Simpang Raya. mak aiiiihhhh!!! rmi btul pakcik2 & makcik2 dr Malaysia wt rombongan&mkn at d same restaurant.masa tumpang nk smyg kt surau kt restoran tu, smpt la borak2 dgn makcik2 tu, hehehe... "owh, makcik ni org Johor rupanye" *wink2*

Pak Madi bw kitrg pusing2 area kampung2, tgk rumah2 org kt sana on our way to another places. so, x la kitorg tgk highway je, merasa gk tgk kwsn pedalaman2 ni. best!!! seronok!!! cm kagum dgn their lifestyle & rs bersyukur skjp, huhuhu...tu yg dpt capture d above picture...that was taken when we were somewhere kt atas kwsn bukit2 sket.

continued our journey to another factory outlet...membeli brg2 utk diri sdiri & yg kwn2 mntk tlg beli. before dinner, Pak Madi drove us to Rumah Mode. it's not like the other factory outlets. kwsn exterior dia mmg cntk... ada tmpt leh dok2, bergmbr2, and guess who took our picture kt kwsn Rumah Mode ni (see below)? :)

Dinner menarik gk... mkn makanan Sunda, mkn dlm pondok, dok bersila, ada sungai...CANTEKKKK!!! ujan rintik2 & masing2 dh kepenatan. so another seafood for dinner tu rs cm heaven giller, wakakakaka...

Tima kasih Tuan Kedai, Abang yg tlg amik order, Abang yg tlg anta makanan, Abang yg tlg kira bil... Hatur Nuhun ;)

ermm... gonna continue with d 3rd journey some other day la ye... daaaaa!!!

2009... and it's already 2010

It has been a year since the last time I wrote in this blog. Too many stories to share, but not much time to write (*sigh*) Check out the list below to read (only the summary, though) about things that had happened, places that I've visited and other stories as well.

1) Wedding... wedding...
My colleague (geng-sama2-buat-jht-masa-zmn-degree-dulu) got married in April. dan KAMI (KWN2 SETIA NI) beramai2 wt lawatan kt Sarawak to attend her wedding. sgt menarik...and sgt panas cuaca di sana. can't believe that I got sunburn on my left arm cz terdedah kt matahari WALAUPUN dok dlm kereta. Anyways... didoakan semoga Hajijah berbahagia with her husband & the new addition to the family (a cute baby whom I haven't met yet). Dear lil' boy, I JUST HAVEN'T MET YOU YET (*wink...wink...*)

2) Office... &H1NI
The office was closed for a few days kerana H1N1. By the time all of us were back in the office again, most commented "Hai...bosannye la dok kt umah, tak tau nk buat apa". Haaa... sll kalo nk cuti to settle apa2 hal, kna apply cuti, kn?!! bos yg kna approve cuti, kn?!! This time, DPT CUTI FREE... tp most of us xtau nk buat apa sepnjg cuti tu. hahaha... tidakkah agak pelik? :)

3) Office... &terbakar
Kebaboooommmm!!! waicehhh...sound effect bkn main hbt, hahaha. Mmg ada kebakaran, but it's not affecting the whole building. Agak kecoh when the firemen came to the building. & Syst Admin ni (poor me, huhuhu) agak kalut sket ... oh, nooooo... my BUKU ITAM!!! dgn pantas menyelamatkn MY BLACK BOOK a.k.a buku-yg-sgt-penting-utk-keja2-system ni. & akhirnya kuar la statement dr mulut ni:- "If apa2 jd kt building ni, the 1st thing i akan bw kuar&selamatkn is my BUKU ITAM"... ME & MY BUKU ITAM MMG XDPT DIPISAHKAN :)

4) Trip... &INDONESIA, saya dtg lg :)
Another trip to Indonesia with my frens (Ana & Yani). We went to Bandung and Jakarta. The whole trip took 5 days. SGT...SGT...SGT...SGT...SERONOK!!! (I'm gonna have to tell the story of this trip in another post).

5) Birthday... &STORYBOOKS
A few days before my birthday, I saw an advertisement in Sunday Star about book promo at MPH. my 1st thought - "I'm gonna get those no matter how koyak rabak my wallet will be", wakakaka. The promo stated that "buy 5 books from the books shown in this page and you'll get 20% discount". At the end, I bought 7 books (ada 1set in a box that have 3titles in it) dan tlh membyr lbh dr RM200. Never in my entire life have I bought books for more than RM100.00!!! Tapi, b'day present utk diri sdiri py pasal, I don't mind spending lbh dr RM200 :)

Rasanye, those are among the highlights of last year (2009). More stories in the next blog. Chiao!!!

lawatan ke skolah

in d previous blog, i promised utk citer sket psl skolah yg kitrg smpt lawat kt sabah aritu, kn. so, here it is...

to tell d truth, sgt kagum dgn my fren yg jd cekgu kt Sabah tu. seeing their environmnt masa mula2 smpi kt S. K. Bintasan, whoaaaa... cm agak terkejut sket. no offense ek... tp looking at my experience for 6years during primary school kat bandar, cm agak terkagum sbb npk pam air dpn kwsn skolah. menarikkk, hehehe...

ni kwsn dpn S.K. Bintasan. npk x bendera Sabah tu? hehehehe... kira ada bukti la yg kitrg g melawat skolah kt Sabah ni, xde tipu py :) masa ni dh kul7.30 cmtu, tp terang dia dh cm kul9 je kn. tiba2, npk la bdk2 laki kt skolah ni main bola b4 masuk klas....


adik2 ni mmg npk sronok giller kt skolah. pagi2 lg dh bersenam b4 masuk klas. masa ni bdk2 ni drjh 5. skrg ni dh drjh 6 la (ni kn dh 2009). dh nk UPSR la thn ni ye adik2 ;p
(yg pompn 2 org tu setakat menceriakan suasana je dlm gmbr ni, xde pn join sekali main bola)





jgn terkejut ek... ni la jln utk masuk ke kwsn skolah ni. haaa... terkagum x?!! TAK?!!! how come?!!! dis is really a new experience. just imagine bila hari hujan, sure jln ni bertakung2 air. yg kagum tu, adik2 tetap g skolah (jln kaki lg tu!!!!) walau apa pn keadaan cuaca, huhuhu...






lastly, sape nk join mengira?! hehehe... one, two, three, four. pandai!!!! :)

Sabah - Part 3

utk meng"update" blog adalah sgt sukar. it took me 'bout 1month utk bg d latest update. tp xpelah, kn... atleast ber"update" la gk. well, gonna continue wit d 3rd day kt Sabah (kagum sbb stil leh igt perjlnan, wakakaka....):-

• rombongan skolah
  mula2 kitorg g la melawat dulu s.k.bintasan. our tourist guide is one of d teachers here. kebetulannya bdk2 darjah 6 ada rmbgn skolah smpna lps UPSR. (igt x zmn dulu2, lps UPSR je sure cekgu2 bw bdk2 drjh 6 g rmbgn mana2. if kt KL, slalu cekgu2 bw g Cameron Highln, hehehe). adik2, kitorg pn nk tmpg sekaki g rmbgn sama2, leh kn? :) oh yessss... tiba2 lk bdk2 skolah ni igt yg kitrg ni cekgu2 br smpi dr semenanjung. ada gaya cekgu ke cmni? wakakaka...

• 1st destination... kitorg g tmpt buat gong. tp xmasuk dlm pn, setakat tgk dr luar je.

• 2nd destination... RUMAH PANJANG RUNGUS, kpg Bavanggazo (sebut btul2 ek, hehehe). uisssshhh...scary tul naik umh pjg ni. buat dr buluh, gaya cm xberapa nk kukuh sgt lg2 bile rmi2 naik skali. tp, org umh pjg tu sdiri kata yg umh tu slmt. kitorg pn, percaya jelah. (dlm ati ni, tuhan je yg tau. ada yg kaki aku terbolos dlm lantai ni, huhuhu...)

• 3rd destination... Mini Zoo. sbnrnye, ni kwsn 2in1, ladang sawit merangkap zoo gk. ada mcm2 binatang la yg diletak dlm kandang. alaaa, cm kt zoo la. tp cuaca panas masa tu, adussss.... cm nk terbkr kulit, wpn la br kul11.30pg. boleh rentung la gk :)
• 4th destination... the tip of Borneo, kt Simpang Mengayau. tmpt ni, fuhhhh... xlh nk describe la cmne cntknye. dh smpi tip of Borneo, rs cm hebat giller lk, hahaha...yelah, dh npk laut yg pisahkn Borneo&Filipin. tp xdelah smpi tahap cm kt Pantai Lido (Johor) yg lh npk Singapore tu. eeeiiii, serius... laut kt cni cntk sgt!!! bak kata org, "saujana mata memandang", haaaa. tgk sdiri, br tau :)

Kesimpulannye, berjln ikut rmbgn bdk skolah adalah sgt seronok, hahaha... xdelah, ikut rmbgn pn best.... berjln2 kt Sabah ni pn dh mmg best. sgt lain dr yg lain. it's such a great experience sbb dpt tgk sdiri cmne keadaan bdk2 skolah kt cni. sgt kagum la dgn diorg ni. next blog will show u d pictures and tell u some of d experiences that we had wit bdk2 skolah kt cni. c yaaa!!!!!

Sabah - Part 2

Hari ke-2 at KK:-

• UMSWe started our journey dgn BREAKFAST la dulu, hehehe… perut kosong, cmne nk jln jauh :) we had our sarapan dkt caffee kt UMS. Boleh tahan gk sedap soto kt caffee kt blkg library UMS tu (promo…promo…). Then, kami pn mulakn la perjlnan – Gng Kinabalu, here we come!!!! On d way tu, singgah la dkt Petronas kt Bakut, dkt petrol sttn pn kitorg bergmbr, ahaksss. Jauuuuuuuhhh tau nk smpi Gng Kinabalu tu dr KK, adalah dkt 2hours. Once dh npk Gng Kinabalu, haaaaaaa….terkagum!!! sgt cntk la.
• Gng KinabaluWe arrived at Kinabalu Park & smpt la bergmbr2 even kt tepi2 jln pn (asalkn d bground tu cntk & menunjukkn bukti bahawasanye kami dh smpi kt Gng Kinabalu). Dok la rehat2 jp kt kwsn yg org nk start pnjt Gng Kinabalu tu. Kesimpulannye, d surrounding sgt cntk, sgt menarik, sgt sukaaaa!!!
• Pekan Kundasang
  This is d area yg lbh kurg cm Cameron Highland la… org jual sayur, bunga, buah. Dr sini pn lh npk Gng Kinabalu tu. Tmpt tu slalunye sejuk, tp we were lucky dat when we arrived there it wasn’t too cold. Or else, xde la kami nk pusg2 kt ctu lama2. We bought some fruits & sket kuih2 org Sabah & we continue to….
• Poring Hot Spring
  Ni tmpt kolam air pns. Tp ada gk la menda2 lain yg nk dilawat bile dh smpi sini. Ada gua kelawar, air terjun, canopy walk. Tp disbbkn masa xcukup (krg xsmpt lk nk g tgk tmpt lain lg, kn), kitorg amik la kesmptn alang2 dh smpi kt Hor Spring ni utk rndm kaki. rendam kaki je?!!! a'ah, rendam kaki je. tp kesan lps rendam kaki dlm air pns tu, fuhhhh… sgt bes!!! rs kaki lembut & licin sbb daki2 dh tercabut kot, muahahaha. lg bes sbb rs kaki ringan sgt. rendam kaki dlm air pns ni is gud for blood circulation, kn (kot). Kolah air pns tu ada byk & tiap 1 kolah tu diorg divide into partition2 lk. Tiap partition tu ada la paip air pns & air sejuk sdiri. Pndi2 la nk bajet kepnsn air ikut kesesuaian kulit. If x, terbkr lk cm udang nnt, hahaha… terkejut sket b4 blk tu coz org yg dok kt partition sblh kitorg tu was a family from Johor. tp, WE ARE MALAYSIAN, kn!!
• Ladang TehLps Hot Spring kt Poring tu, we went to Ladang Teh Nalapak. yg ni xle jauh sgt dr Hot Spring, about 15min je. Uikkksss… cntk gk, cm Ladang Teh kt Cameron. Ada la beli souvenir sket dr Ladang Teh ni. & also, dok melepak smbl minum teh kt cni :) alang2 dh smpi cni kn, xkn la xnk try teh kt cni. Not bad… sedap & enak, ditambah lk dgn ada roti bakar…. Lazaaaattttt!!!
• Pekan Nabalu
  Kt cni cm kwsn jual2 souvenir la gk, ada kedai berderet yg jual mcm2 (beg, kain2, baju, brg2 hiasan umah, mainan2, etc). actually those who want 2go to Gng Kinabalu akn jmp Pekan Nabalu ni dulu. Tp we decided not to stop here first, krg pusg2 tgk souvenir dh mkn masa lk. better shop on d way nk blk. Yg pntg, dpt gmbr dgn org hensem kt cni, wakakaka…
  
  

Sabah - Part 1 (Kota Kinabalu)

hellooo...helloooo...

i had a great holiday last week... went to Sabah with my fren. we have planned this trip for quite some time. konon2 mula2 nk g on July, tp xdpt pi on July atas perkara2 yg xdpt dielakkan. so, at the end, bjaya gk la terbang to KK (Kota Kinabalu ye... bkn Kota Kemuning) on 28Oct2008.

d trip was very nice... xleh nk kata how hepi i was when i reached KK, hehehe... teruja + terkinja2 :)
we stayed at Promenade Hotel Apartment. hmmm... not bad la utk stay bbrp mlm. lps check in, ltk beg, g mkn kt McD, g Centre Point (shopping complex) utk withdraw duit & off we went to Pasar Filipin, hehehe... utk sape2 yg xpnah smpi Sabah, if setakat nk cuci mata je kt Pasar Filipin tu lupakan saja la niat anda. coz, dkt Pasar Filipin ni mcm2 accessories ada, brg2 hiasan umah pn ada, ikan masin, udang kering, u name it la... byk menda la leh dibeli :)

kitorg ber2 dr semenanjung ni konon terer sgt area KK, pdhal br 1st day smpi, muahahaha... jln kaki dr promenade smpi ke psr Filipin tu around 15min la, bkn jauh sgt pn. tp tu pn terpaksa stop 3X to ask for direction. bile smpi je kt pasar Filipin tu, konon2 nk survey je dulu. tp xjd... last2 beli gk la a few accesories (utk bg souvenir kt kwn2 & famili) wpn br sampai. tp harus le pndi2 berjimat sbb takut duit xcukp, sedangkan we stil hav rabu, kamis, jumaat & sabtu kt KK.

baru 1 hari pn dh sgt seronok. oh yesss....forgotten 2tell u, pnah x npk ABC (air batu campur) kt semenanjung ni yg org ltk makaroni kt dlm dia? haaa... ni mmg magik la kt KK. air batu campur dia ada ltk makaroni!!! tp, xberani nk rs, takut rs pelik. at d end, both of us just had air yg standard - yakni, air dlm tin je (cap drinho kot) *wink...wink...*

tggl 1 week lg...

lg 1 week... and then abis la Syawal. looking back at the events throughout dis whole month, nmpknye mmg kenyang sentiasa la mkn jamuan sana sini. in a way, bgs gak coz leh save sket ;) to sape2 yg saya dh dtg mkn kt umah smpna umh terbuka/jamuan, thnx so much ye... moga allah murahkn rezki.

lg 1 cara utk save budget lps sibuk berblnja utk preparation for Hari Raya is through puasa. utk sape2 yg settle ganti puasa dlm bln raya ni gk, alhamdulillah... xyah nk kalut2 gnti puasa lg b4 d nex Ramadan. utk sape2 yg dpt settlekn puasa 6 hari & raya 4 d 2nd time , alhamdulillah!!! bgs sbnrnye puasa dlm bln Syawal ni... at least perut tu x de la terkejut sbb masuk mcm2 sgt mknan lps dh 1bln berehat ...kaaannn...kaaannn....

and also, lg 1 week saya akn terbang to KK, yakni Kota Kinabalu ye. yeayyyyy!!!cannot wait 2get there la :) 1 hari... 2hari...3 hari...4 hari... cepat la nexweek. till then, bye!!!
