in my previous entry dh btau about d (grand) events that are taking place in KL starting from 21 March - 2 April. one of it is Hari Kraf Kebangsaan (HKK) 2012.

kn dh btau, every year i mmg akn de kt HKK ni everyday on weekdays msa sedang berlgsg event ni. balik kerja je, muka i de la menempel kt Kmplks Kraf. xde kerja lain lps blk kerja, wt parttime ronda kawasan kt Kmplks Kraf ms HKK, masuk from one tent to another, singgah/lalu kt each booth to another. TAPI, lpstu xbeli apa2, hahaha. makcik2/kakak2 jual kain/tudung bawal/batik sure tension dpt pelawat cm i ni. eh, i sbnrnye nk tnjk pe yg i jmp masa wt ronda kawasan tu. kagum nih, kagummm!!! (**quality gmbr tidak le nye secntk mana cz pki kamera henpon).

masa npk je machine ni, mula2 igtkn vending machine jual air. lpstu npk cm de paket2 bgks. igtkn vending machine jual kacang Tong Garden ke. tetiba... vending machine jual brg kraf rupanye!!! giller hebat la kemajuan zmn la ni. what's available? sila tgk...

kalo g jepun maybe de la machines yg jual brg2 cmni. ntah2 jual pensel pen pemadam pembaris apa segala pn ade. kalo kt US lk de machine jual cupcake, picit2 je nk mntk cupcake flavor pe & then byr & then tadaaaa!!! cupcake kuar dr slot mcm ATM machine. memndgkn kt Msia ni i xjmp lg machine yg jual brg2 souvenir cmni, ni 1st time npk nih, so mmg ptt la pun i kagum & overly excited =) (ke, sbnrnye ada je tp i yg xpnah npk? hmmm...).

ok, keberuntungan bila ayahnda berkwn, or ber"geng" (lbh tepat) dgn pkck2 artis/seniman len, adalah bila anaknye leh dpt hasil seni/kraf for free from that pakcik. this is what i get from one pakcik on my 1st day visiting Hari Kraf Kebangsaan 2012. sempat tgk live demo from this pakcik utk visitors len gk.

 

 

mungkin kalo ayahnde berkwn, or ber"geng" (lbh tepat) dgn pakcik2 artis/seniman len yg jual tudung bawal, i leh dpt byk tudung bawal for free kot. ada ati, cheh!!! go and buy ikan bawal jelah, that's more like it ;)

the annual event this year is held from 21 March (yesterday) until 2 April 2012. d launching will be held today (thus, harus la kuar rumah awal cz ayahnda has 2reach there early, huhu). from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, you'll find variety of products yg best... pd i, dpt pilih tudung bawal berlambak2 sure la best, kn? muahahaha. it's not just tudung bawal yg i suka, d performances pn best. trus mode tradisional dgr lagu asli, dikir barat & segala =) masuk percuma weh. parking area disediakn. tp if naik LRT cm i, turun kt Ampang Park & lh naik shuttle. waaahhhh, cmne i tau ni? cz, i kn every year pergi... bkn setakat every year... every working days in every year during Hari Kraf Kebangsaan muka i mmg de kt Kmplks Kraf tu. pusing ronda all d booths 86 kali pn tp sll xbeli apa2, except tudung bawal, hehehe. for details, u can visit the website for Hari Kraf Kebangsaan 2012.

F1 Malaysian Grand Prix

this'll be from 23-25 March, besok until d weekends la. i tau keta racing tu hanya lh npk bbrp second je dpn mata cz laju sgt. tp dlm ati sebnrnye cm teringin sgt nk experience tgk F1, huhuhu. saja je. mslhnye race kt Msia ni kalau pns, pns sgt... kalo ujan, ujan lbt sgt. makanye, tgk kt TV jelah. sape2 yg dh beli tiket, enjoy!!! sape2 yg nk beli tiket, enjoy gak, hehehe. mslh besar di jiwa, tgk dlm iklan kt TV aritu, kt Spore race nt ada Maroon 5!!! ohmaigoddddd!!! Adam Levine!!! sukaaaaa!!! cmne niiii???!!!

~ d WaiTiNG game ~

lps dh puas perah otak berhabis2 habisan, harini dh slmt kuar result SPM. the WAITING since mlm td (or maybe since last week) were d most torturing experience kn, adik2?!! (i pnah experience, dats y i tau, hahaha). yg mmg bersggh2 study & very well prepared b4 g exam SPM last year, xde la nk rs suspen giller penantian nk amik result tu. tp utk yg agk2 cm lg sebln nk exam stil leh rileks cm xde apa akn berlaku, haaa... sure smlm tido-xlena-mandi-xbasah-mkn-xkenyang kot.

well, just 2share what i heard on d radio when i was on my way 2work yesterday morning - d deejays were dscssing about d WAITING that u have 2endure & hw hard it must be, cnthnye dlm keadaan2 genting nk amik result SPM siang td.

yepp, i think dat is true enough. kdg2 terlbh2 sgt emo pdhl sbnrnye xde apa sgt. cnthnye, keadaan org yg nk g jmp dentist cz rs there's smthing wrong dgn gigi dia. most dreadful moment adalah while WAITING for nurse utk pggl masuk g jmp dentist. d anticipation is worst than d real thing, kn? so mula la kreativiti thp 2 d max & pkir yg bkn2, pkir yg Dr mmg akn korek gigi smpi nanges2 cz skt giller. pdhl bila dh siap sbnrnye stakat kna wt tmpln sket je 2avoid lubang lg kronik. see how bad an anticipation can b?

on d other hand, utk org len yg nk kna intrvw (intrv session in group), maybe a totally different experience it will b. 

~ d real thing is actually worst ~ (my friend ckp)

rs kecut perut yg amat & nervous tu normal la kn. g toilet (whthr utk buang yg kecik/besar) ntah brp kali dh xtau la. tgn kebas/sejuk tu dh mmg confirm la. d WAITING utk kna pggl interview tu mmg satu penyiksaan. lpstu, tetiba la pulak npk group yg kna intrvw dlm bilik lain py interview session and dlm ati terdetik:-

"mcm best je dirg py session. mbe aku py session pn cm tu kot. ok, fighting!!!"

masuk je bilik intrvw dgn org2 len yg in d same group, stil lh cntrl emosi. start je introducing yourself, dh leh rs nk hantuk kpale sket kt meja cz dgr org len introduce diri dgn btau staf nmbr diorg. lpstu bila dgr lk org yg introduce diri dgn btau staf nmbr tu leh bercerita giller hbt about history of Korea, siap dgn brp population org dlm dunia ni yg leh bertutur gna bahasa Korea, and anothr person dlm d same group ni plak pung-pang citer psl ekonomi Korea... all of a sudden, u'll feel like u r d only person in that room yg plg teruk knowledge about Korea. dan kebetulannye seat lk paling dekaaaaat dgn pintu. kalo cabut kuar dr bilik intrvw tu pn xde sape yg sedar. yes, i'm talking about my friend's experience in an interview session recently. sori kwn, bg sample ko cz plg senang, hahaha.

well, to WAIT for anything is definitely a torture. sape2 yg lh cntrl cool/macho/sopan/ayu while WAITING for anything (tgg result SPM, tgg komuter yg xsampai dh 45minit, tgg turn nk masuk public toilet, tgg itu, tgg ini, etc), mmg korg hebat cz x ramai yg lh jd cm korg. the key is utk bersabar & dan bljr bertenang. try not to think too much. but if u r just like me, TRY HARDER then, muahahaha =) don't anticipate too much because at d end...

yeah!!! esok school holiday. haruslah i bergembira for very obvious reason - jln raya akn lengang & sprti leh main rollerblade kt highway Sg. Besi, muahahaha. from tol Sg. Besi to office will only take around 10 to 15 minute msa cuti skolah ni, as compared to 40mins (minimum) during bkn cuti skolah. maknanye, akn smpi awl kt ofis & leh breakfast dgn bertenang2 sket. takdelah tercekik breakfast roti & lidah terbkr mnm air pns yg xsmpt nk sejuk cz nk kna start jg kaunter/check machines. oh ye laaa... trus terigt yg sok i jg kaunter whole day (8.30 - 5.30). *kwn2 yg nk call, take note of the timing, pls* 

sepjg i kerja, rsnye br 1X smpi lmbt kt ofis. msa tu ofis stil kt tmpt lama. reason - stuck dlm jammed. tp the incident on Thursday & Friday when SMART tunnel was closed to all users telah mencalarkan record baik yg i jg after dat 1st incident lmbt tu. akibatnye?!!! ye, i wt record 2days in a row smpi lmbt ke ofis. on both days smpi ofis kul9pg... jgn lupa, i kuar umah kul6.30pg okehhh. bila sangkut dlm jammed cmtu, lps duajamsetgh kuar umah br smpi ofis, penat weh. mmg nk ngs cz backside rs nk kematu T_T

harus la dikhabarkan (attention people!!!), sepjg stucked dlm jammed tu i xtido dlm keta. (bravo!!! pat on my shoulder).  mungkin la cz nervous bila tgk keta bergerak agak2 dlm 5cm je then stop for like 20mins....bergerak dlm 3cm then stop blk for like 15mins... lpstu cmpr dgn skt ati cz dh npk dh signboard exit to PJ. tp nk menyampaikan ke exit tu took me not less than 40mins. kalo turun keta & jln kaki je pun ntah2 dh leh smpi ofis trus, that bad...
oh ye, setting kt ofis br adalah bilik2 big bosses mengadap ke entrance/pondok guard. bgs btul setting cenggitu! terbaekkk!!! tp xpe la, bknnye i suka2 nk lmbt ye x? come on, br 2kali ni je i lmbt masa kt ofis br ni. atleast i reached d office at 9a.m, de ofismet len smpi ofis kul11 tau. hmm... maybe i need to find out other smarter options/route to reach PJ =)

rsnye i leh wt conclusion terbaik/persamaan mantik/kuadratik to sum up d consequence of what happened on Thursday & Friday ~ SMART tunnel tutup, produktiviti merudum, haha... ada kaitan kah? =)

bila org ty "sape wanita plg awesome utk anda?", sure ramai yg akn jwb "mak/ibu/bonda/mama/mummy saya la". whether it's mak/ibu/bonda/mama/mummy or apa juga panggilan utk mak anda2 sekalian, they are WOMEN who rock d world (yes, they are d greatest).

certain2 jejaka pn bila dpt soalan yg sama akn jwb "girlfren/buah hati/darling/kekasih/awek aku la". whether it's girlfren/buah hati/darling/kekasih/awek or apa juga pggln utk cinta hati jejaka2 tersebut, they are WOMEN who fill the days&nights&heart of those jejaka2.

bila org ty kita "sape cekgu yg korg plg suka kat skolah", ada murid2 (or ex-murid2) akn reply "cikgu latifah/cikgu salmah/cikgu ramlah/Ms. Ng/Mrs. Jeya". whether it's cikgu latifah/cikgu salmah/cikgu ramlah/Ms. Ng/Mrs. Jeya or sape pn cikgu lain yg bergelaran Cik/Puan/Ms./Mrs., they are WOMEN who influence the life of their students (or ex-students).

it's International Women's Day today. whether u r someone's girlfriend, or just got married, or married with 1 kid (or 2, or 3, or more) or stil single (ehem...ehem...), anda layak diraikan on this day. you girls (or mothers/grandmothers/aunty/sister/girlfriend) rock =)

i tau byk entry dlm blog ni about my experience g berjln/holiday sna sni merata2. d recent one my trip to Singapore. if nk kira kekerapan i g holiday/berjln2, emmm... sejak dh kerja, every year i amik cuti g holiday. other than g holiday, d only chance i get utk feel2 g berjln/holiday is when i attend a seminar/cnference. people would say that i'm lucky to b able 2go on a holiday/seminar/conference merata2. eh, tp kn, ada org yg lg beruntung dr i la, sethn smpi byk2 kali g meeting kt oversea... kalo lbh dr 1X, kira byk la tu kn =)

tp pasport i byk cop indonesia je, hehehe. every year dr 2008 smpi 2010 i g indon. ayahnde pn ckp, g la tmpt len lk, jgn la g indon je. lpstu kenkwn/family pn de ckp kt i, "asyik2 g indon je". ats sbb tu la, 2011 dh x g indon lg. hahaha... tipu ;) bkn x g indon cz dpt those remarks from my father/family/frens. tp cz 2011 i de plan lain. & 2011 py plan nk g Singapore xjd & ditunda to 2012.

"seronok ke g jln?"

mmg la seronok, dowhhh!!!! pantang org ajk berjln (makcik2, sedara mara, kenkwn), cnfrm i x tolak (kalau ms tu mmg berkemampuan la). d fact is, i mmg sukaaaaa berjln. sukaaaaa g holiday. sukaaaaa nk g cuti2. memndgkn blom lg jmp jejaka yg i leh pggl sang suami, maka byknye g berjln2/holiday dgn frens. nt bila dh jmp calon sang suami, harus la calon tu kna sukaaaaa buat pasport. eh, salah... kna la dia terima fakta bhw i mmg suka g holiday/berjln2 (owhhhh, sgt berhrp dpt jmp calon who can accommodate my need 2go on a holiday & dia kna join i g holiday gk. amiiiin). hehehe... ok, sila pause mode gatal. *blush*.

"apa yg seronok?"

seronok la dpt tgk tmpt org. dpt learn new culture. dpt try new food. dpt experience different weather. u'll b exposed 2many things when u go travelling/holiday actually. dats 1 way how u learn about life. walaupn cuma g attend seminar je kt Penang & dok bersantai petang2 kt tepi laut sorg2 (sedih kn bersantai sorg2 kt tepi laut, huhuhu), or g Syria & merasakan yg Syria tu berhawa bercuaca dingin yg leh wt org yg xtahan akn terberdarah hidung cz angin dingin tampar terpa muka memanjang, mahupun berkerut2 muka tahan ketakutan ms naik angkut kt Indon, semua tu experience best. nikmat dunia. bersyukur for everything yg allah bg yg membolehkn i g melancong/travel tiap thn.

thn ni, 2012 ni, after my trip to Singapore, merasakn yg prlu slowdown sket aktiviti berjln2. mengetahui keadaan ati yg x cukup kental menahan nafsu utk g berjln2/holiday, mari la kita set jam randik & see how long i can last :)

2012's trip - Singapore (Pt. 5)

ok, here's d final part of my trip to Singapore. gonna give d guides based on my observation/experience during d trip.

getting around SG

u can choose 2walk or take d MRT/buses/taxi if u want 2go around SG. we didn't take d taxi cz MRT & bus dh cukup bgs for us. & we did a lot of walking around as well. we bought d Singapore tourist pass for 3days for SGD34. don't worry, u'll get ur refund (SG10) when u return d ticket/pass after ur 3rd day. so basically d card/pass just cost u SGD24 je & u can take bus/MRT/LRT to any stations, banyak2 kali pn xpe. if dh terslh turun station, no worries. no need 2buy different card. just use d same pass & u can get down kt station yg septtnye. see?!! satu kaedah pnjimatan if anda mmg yakin akn gna MRT/LRT/buses byk2 kali sepjg trip to Singapore.

map

mbe org len suka advnture, berjln2 kt negara org without map. during my trip to Singapore, byk jmp backpackers & they hv maps 2go around d country. i tergolong dlm kelompok yg sma, map mmg penting pd i. xperlu nk kna hebat sgt tau exact location korg dlm map ktne. cukup la kalo nama jln/bgnn/facilities berhmpirn dgn lokasi korg berdiri tu de display dlm map. then u can try 2figure out d direction and get d easiest/shortest route 2where u wanna go. kalo dh xtau sgt, ty je org. itulah gunanye cikgu2 ajr gna PLEASE and THANK YOU supaya korg leh ty "can u show me d direction to Arab Street PLEASE?" & then say "THANK YOU" bila org tu dh bg jwpn. ingat, even if org tu ckp dia xtau, tetap ckp "THANK YOU" okeh... berbudi bahasa amalan kita =)

restrooms

i've been to several countries yg kemudahan toilet x mcm kt Msia. even if xde hose kt toilet KLCC, atleast still ada air utk menyucikn diri. tp kt negara2 yg i pnah g (othr than indonesia), paip air mmg xde dlm toilet but they provide tissue. so, kita kna lbh bersedia dgn botol air mineral yg kecik tu dlm beg SETIAP MASA. if yg tgh "bulan mengambang", sure suspen kn bila masuk toilet tgk2 xde paip/air. kt Singapore, ada certain toilet ada paip/air dlm toilet. tp kebanyakannye xde. so, standby la botol air mineral dlm beg ye.

Kiblah compass

i brought along my own kiblah compass during my visit to SG (and also last visit to Melb). dh tntu2 dlm hotel xde kiblah direction, that's y better 2bring your own. lgpn kn senang if let say dh terdesak nk kna smyg dlm fitting room or kt dpn tmn bunga (cnthnye). tp bw kiblah compass je xcukup if korg x check dulu reading for kiblah direction b4 your trip.

pamphlets

once u reach your hotel, amik je pamphlets apa yg hotel tu display. sometimes good deals/packages being offered during your stay. walaupn dpt discount SGD3 je (cnthnye), a discount is still a discount =) bila g tourist attrctions pn, amik je apa pamphlets yg ada kt entrance/ticket counter (mcm kt Universal Studio). u'll find useful info yg akn senangkn korg dlm pamphlets (cnthnye ktne nk dpt mknan halal kt Universal Studio). bila dh nak blk kmpg halaman/tnh tumpah darah sndiri, tgglkn je pamphlets tu kt bilik hotel if korg rs dh xnk lg. or, kalo baik hati, leh bg kt kwn2/sanak sedara yg de possibility akn g negara tu.
